The sexiest and the fastest female swimmer in the world, Federica Pellegrini, took some time off from training to go and meet the new Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic. The meeting took place in Verona, the place where Federica trains by swimming daily at least 20 kilometers in the pool. Since it was an Italian swimmer meeting an Italian luxury sports car, Federica wore a scarf in the colors of the Italian flag.

The model she drove was a white Maserati GrandTurismo S Automatic powered by a 4,700cc V8 engine with 440 horsepower, which reaches a maximum speed of 295km/h.  Isnt it cool ?

“I’ve always liked sports cars: They’ve always fascinated me even when I was a child,” Federica said. “It’s a passion that I haven’t inherited from anyone in my family. Probably the truth is that I’m particularly attracted by anything that has to do with speed.”

Sexy Italian world record holder Federica Pellegrini looked in ominously good form, breaking the world championship record with a time of 4.01.96 in the final heat.

Pellegrini was one of seven swimmers to go inside current world championship records during the morning’s six events, most of them wearing the controversial polyurethane suits. And she is one of the hottest women in sports.

Federica Pellegrini broke the four minute mark in the 400m Freestyle on home soil last Sunday with the Joanne Jackson and Rebecca Adlington close behind.
